Tips & Ideas

If you haven’t seen the latest issue of Paper Crafts 101,
it is loaded with pages of techniques and here are a few:

Add paint to sandpaper (oh, my fav!) to enhance the texture.

Make a project pop by adding Liquid Applique dollops to a design.

Apply glue using a glue stick to decorative paper and layer tissue paper over the glued area to create a faux silk finish.
Probably similar look as a vellum overlay?

Score lines horizontally and vertically for a checked pattern look.  Sand the raised lines!

Snip the edge of cardstock to create fringe.

Faux stitch with a white pen.

Use brads to create an interesting corner.

2-Color Stamp “Kissing” – Ink a stamp, then ink a separate “background” stamp with a different color ink and press the first stamp into the second and press image onto paper.
